Ben's study of photography began when at 14 he was sent to boarding school. Developing a close relationship with an unloved photographic department much of his spare time was spent experimenting with various photographic and chemical processes. He then went on to refine his skills and obtain a BA in Photography at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. In 2000 after traveling the world Ben made New York his home. His work is a mix of personal, editorial and commissioned projects. NY Times T magazine, Teen Vogue, V Magazine, Tylenol and UNIQLO are some of his collaborators.
