Christian Witkin was born in Manchester, England. At age 17 he moved to America to pursue his education at Syracuse University and graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art and Photography. His professional career started in the summer of 1993, and since, he has shot for clients such as Vogue (American, British, German, Spanish and Japanese Editions), W, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, The London Sunday Times, Arena, ID, 2Wice Magazine and many others. He is currently pursuing a publishing partner for his first book of images collected over 8 years of travels throughout India.
