After studying Photography in Rhode Island, Carlton Davis moved to New York where he worked as photographer’s assistant. After three years assisting, Carlton began his commercial career in 1990. The most inspiring projects for Carlton are those that allow for creative freedom and the ability to experiment. For this reason, Carlton has chosen still life. His editorial work includes, but is not limited to Elle, Italian Marie Claire, Japanese Vogue, Teen Vogue, Martha Stewart, The New York Times, Glamour, House and Garden, and InStyle. He has also shot photos for Tiffany & Co., Armani, Ralph Lauren, Swarovski, MAC, Kenneth Cole, Coach, Bobbi Brown and many others. Carlton currently lives in New York City with his wife and daughters.
