Originally from Germany, Jens Umbach received an education and was a partner at a studio in Darmstadt. His passion for photography started early when he worked for a local newspaper. Currently he works as a portrait photographer connecting with his subjects to capture an image. His work has been published in The New Yorker, Esquire, Observer Magazine, London Telegraph Magazine and London Times. His advertising clients include, Mercedes Benz, British Airways, IBM, GE, Procter & Gamble and Comcast among others. In his free time he spends time with his wife and twin daughters.
